The aim of Engineers are people who solve problems and focus on making things work more efficiently and effectively. Engineers apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Their work is the link between perceived social needs and commercial applications.

1 Offer Science subjects in Secondary Schools.
If you want to become an engineer, you will need to have essential foundation in science subjects, which are Mathematics, physics, chemistry, Biology and English language. And you need to have at least a credit pass in the above listed subjects in your WAEC and NECO.

2 Get Admission to Study Engineering in Nigeria.
Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements for Engineering Admission
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the four (4) JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study any Enginerering courses under the Faculty of Engineering.
» Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study any Engineering course;
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
3. After Admission, Stay Focus and Learn
It’s not all students who get admission to study Engineering will finish the program. So, after admission, make sure you focus on your studies so that you will become an Engineer in Nigeria.
